The Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Body (AWERB) Subgroup of the Animals in Science Committee (ASC) held its eighth workshop for AWERB Hubs on 2 November 2022.

The themes for discussion at the workshop were:

• optimising experimental design

• the ASC review of licences for antibody production

• processes for and best practice to align with the ASRU change programme and document AWERB governance processes
