The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is responsible for supervising guardians appointed by the High Court, and making sure they carry out their work in line with the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Act 2017.

This privacy notice explains what we do with the data we collect and how to contact us with any questions. It sets out the standards that you can expect from OPG and includes information about:

  • when we request or hold personal information (personal data) about you
  • how you can get access to a copy of your personal data
  • what you can do if you think the standards are not being met
