Details

The firstround of the Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CDMC) launched in March 2021 and ended in March 2022. It allocated up to 23,259,000 funding to UK innovators to support the design and development of zero emission vessel technologies and greener ports,

Following an independent assessment, 55 projects won the competition. Supported by private consortia comprising 208 partners from around the UK, these projects were announced at London International Shipping Week. They represent a total investment of 33.5 million and will be completed by March 2022.

The second round of the CMDC has allocated up to 12 million to support feasibility studies and pre-deployment trials in innovative clean maritime solutions. It launched on 24 May 2022 and is open for applications until 11am on 13 July 2022.
